Kipp uses his cross-disciplinary experience and industry knowledge to help clients cast a wide net when creating their ideal retirement strategy.
Kipp got his start in the industry in 1983 as a stockbroker, but after working in leadership positions of several financial institutions — including Wells Fargo Bank — he realized that complete retirement strategies require more than just Wall Street investments. That’s when he decided to shift his focus from stocks to complete retirement plans — from retirement to long-term care – and Crew & Lloyd was born. For Kipp, the true joy of leading his own firm comes from getting to know his clients as friends, not just names on a ledger. Kipp works tirelessly to ensure each client receives the attention and fierce loyalty they deserve.
Kipp has passed the Series 65 securities exam, holds an insurance license in California, and earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Santa Clara University and his law degree from McGeorge Law School at the University of the Pacific.
In his free time, Kipp loves to be outdoors. When he’s not working, Kipp can be found hiking, biking and traveling with friends and family. Speaking of family, Kipp raised a family of eight: seven boys and one girl.
